Guests join us in the main cabin for a breakfast of fruit juices, fruit, choice of cereal, toast, marmalade, milk, tea or coffee. If it is requested we will provide a hot breakfast of porrage or Scottish kippers. We usually boil lots of water at breakfast so as to have flasks at hand to use throughout the day.

Tea or Coffee with biscuits etc.

Lunch - 1pm

Typically home made Scotch broth, choice of sandwiches made with locally caught crab or prawns. Cracked crab claws, biscuits and cheese, wine or beer. Tea or coffee to follow. (Weather permitting lunch is usually served in the cockpit)

Mid-afternoon - 3pm

Sandwiches, biscuits, tea or coffee. A wee dram of malt whisky or glass of wine.

Pre-dinner - 5pm

We usually aim to get into some secluded anchorage or a small fishing harbour by 5 P.M. The guests may then take a walk along the beach to gather driftwood for the wood burning stove, or have a cocktail on board and a chat while waiting for dinner.

Dinner - 6pm

Cullen skink (a type of fish chowder) made with smoked fish served with fresh bread. Poached Scottish salmon with all the trimmings. Baked custard with fruit. Choice of cheese, biscuits and wine . Tea or coffee served with cakes from a local bakery to follow.

Supper - 9pm

Guests are welcome to help themselves to tea, coffee, horlicks, cocoa, biscuits etc in the saloon as long as they tidy up after themselves.

(In practise people usually go ashore in the evening to a local establishment to have a pint and meet the locals, so if we are at anchor arrangements are made to ferry guests ashore in the dinghy. Alternatively they can simply relax in the cockpit with a dram and plan the next day's sailing.)
